Paul Martin is founder of The Christian Muslim Alliance. And he’s been friends with Chris for over 30 years.

At a recent dinner party, the subject of of the Trump administration came up. So did terrorism.

Paul was surprised to learn that Chris had deep fears about Muslims. All Muslims. His fears were genuine.

As a devoted husband and father, Chris explained that his number one priority is safety.

Chris believed a ban on Muslim entering the country would keep Americans safer.

Paul disagreed.

Chris explained that he had heard Muslims referred to as “snakes” — with some being poisonous, and some not, but with in inability to tell the difference.

Paul shot back.

In the end, the two were able to come to agreement on the importance of protecting religious freedoms, and that all people be free to live peaceful lives.
